What’s happening in Alberta tomorrow? The Flyers v Flames NHL game is scheduled for 2pm Mountain Time.

It’s Presidents Day in the US. The Boston Bruins are notorious for scheduling afternoon games on Columbus Day, MLK Day, and Presidents Day. Tomorrow is no exception.

The Flyers had an afternoon game on the Thursday before Christmas in Toronto. No real reason was given.

The Flyers had an afternoon game on the Thursday before Christmas in Toronto. No real reason was given.

Family Day. It's our first long-weekend of the year and after surviving the brutal month of January, it's well-earned! It's not celebrated as a national stat holiday, but is a Civic in a few provinces. That means the full gamut of schools and banks being closed and most 9-to-5'ers having a paid day off. Day-games for the sports teams would be normal as people are available to attend.

I guess I’m just PO’d because I never got Presidents Day as a paid holiday. Poor poor me.
