Holiday help please... need a recipe for

Wow, so many good recipes. Thanks everyone. My DD gets home from college next week and I think we will make some mini batches and I'll let her choose.

My all time favorite is one that my mom has made for years, AND It's so easy too!!

1 can of Hawaiian punch
1 container of pineapple sherbet ( softened)
1 2 liter of ginger ale

Just place into a punchbowl and break icecream up a little. Delicious!!

I make two bowls of punch, one with/one without. The grown up one is more of a pinkish red. I kids one is bright red, this way we can tell who's drinking what.

My mom side of the family wasn't that smart. At the Christmas party/grandparents 60 wedding anniversaty party, they had made an adult "slush" and a kids "slush". Both were cream/white in color. For the first couple of hours, they did a pretty good job of keeping the older kids out of the adult stuff, but by the time the party was really in full swing, several of the older kids were helping themselves to the adult slush.

I had enough to get the giggles. My mom to this day, has no clue what us 5 female cousins found so funny that day.

When mom makes punch at our house, she does the lime sherbert and 7-up one. She uses an ice cream scoop to put one tub in the bowl, then fills it up with 7 up. As she replenishes it, she uses a small cookie dough scoop to put more sherbert in.
