Will Disney be decorated for Christmas that early? What about the resorts?
Christmas is the only time I’ve not been there

At MK, the fall decorations come down and the Christmas decorations go up right after the last Halloween party.

At Epcot, the Food & Wine Festival lasted until almost Thanksgiving in 2021 and then booths changed over to the Festival of the Holidays. Seems like there's always a festival going on at Epcot. I'm not sure when the tree went up.

The other parks decorate during November and are finished just before Thanksgiving.

Hotel lobbies begin decorating in early November and it is done on a lottery basis. The framework for the GF gingerbread house might get started when you are visiting. All hotel decorations are done by Thanksgiving.

Unfortunately for me, the GF's decorations, other than the gingerbread house, sometimes don't go up until the weekend before Thanksgiving. I've had to pout more than once or twice because there was no sign of tree or other decorations when we left on that Saturday.

The GF gingerbread house will be under construction, probably close to completion by the end of your stay. We typically are there the week before Thanksgiving and sometimes have seen finishing touches like icing snow being added to the roof shortly after we arrived.

The gingerbread sales counter won't be operational that soon. And that is the place to get goodies for those who like gingerbread. Looonng lines when it first opens.

Other resorts' gingerbread constructions aren't likely to be done that early. We usually see the BC carousel startup, but the YC electric train layout often isn't ready until midway through that week before Thanksgiving.

I hate that because I love that train. Most of it has villagers in a snowy Christmas scene, but there's always a section with tiny Disney characters.

Okay, this is too long, but can I be excused because I ❤️ a Disney Christmas?
