Holiday Decorations Which Ones?

OK, I am so excited, we leave Friday for our first Holiday Disney trip. Been lots of times, but never while decorated for the Holidays. I need some suggestions on what decorations either at resorts or parks not to be missed or any special events for the holidays not to miss. We are going to MVMCP on 11/30 and the Candlelight Processional on 11/29.......get those thinking caps on. We are staying at All Star Sports.

You have hit the big 2 already. Be sure and catch the parade during MVMCP. It is not the same one that runs during regular park hours. I think the best resorts for decorations are the GF and WL. The trees are outstanding.

Last year, my family was waiting for me on the sidewalk at MGM and happened to be there when the Glee Club showed up to sing Christmas carols. They were hilarious!! That was my DH and DDs favorite part of the trip.

I'll be there in 18 days. I can't wait!!!

Well you are already signed up for two good ones, but here are some other suggestions.

1. Flag Ceromony/Tree Lighting at MK, This takes place everyday at 5pm in Town Sq. The flag ceromony is so moving and they usually have a vet or current servicemen assist them. Immediately following this is a little show on the the Train station upperdeck you can view it from town sq and ultimatley leads to the lighting of the MK tree.

2. GFLobby, plan a late afternoon or evening. You might want to go to tea. The cms come out into the lobby about 4pm and sing carols, followed by the band and Pianist. Dont miss the huge gingerbread house where you can nibble on some wonderful morsels. You might even catch them roasting chestnuts.

3. WL, the lobby is truly a beautiful sight. We sit in the rocking chairs in front of the fire and just people watch or eat at WC.

4. EC Take time to enjoy the various intl storytellers in each of the countries they are wonderful.

5. Yultide tour. If you have time this is a wonderful inside view of just how they decorate wdw. You visit three parks, a resort and the xmas warehouse. (407)wdw-tour

6. Sleigh Ride/Hayride. WL has the sleigh rides and FW has carriage & hayrides nightly. You will need resv for the sleigh rides.
