I need to clean up the family room and take some pictures, maybe tomorrow AM!

Here's a pic of our dog as we were decorating the tree the other night. DS found these from our smaller dog years ago and put them on Sammie!

Is that a kitty I see behind the dog?

Not sure what this is called, but think of Christmas Vacation everytime I look at it. Those fan blades on top really do fall off so easy.

These are one inch stumps cut off every tree since we got married. I don't know what started it, but were up to 5, now I just need to figure out what to do with them.

I absolutely LOVE this!! What a great tradition!
The idea I had when I saw it was to wait until you have a certain amount (say after 10 years or so) and have them arranged by year and mounted in a shadow box that you can hang on a wall in your home.

I love the tradition though! :thumbsup2

So far I have just posted from last year, but things are coming along, so here are a few pics!

The Santa corner. I love the figurine of Santa praying over the homeless man. (middle) He has put his coat on top of him as he sleeps. Maybe I'll post a close up of that one later.

Thanks. We were talking about it and we think we are going to buy a wood burning kit with number stencils and burn the year in each one. I just hope we have a good place to put them when the numbers reach double digits.
