I know that someone just said that on their Eastern Nov. 13 cruise decorations were already up. I got so excited because we are booked for Nov. 12 2005 Eastern. But then I read that on that 11/13 cruise they were filming for the new Travel Channel DCL video. My question is are there usually decorations in early Nov. or were they just up early this year for the filming???

I sailed last year, the week after Thanksgiving, and the Magic was decorated to the nines. I was on the 11/13 sailing this year and just assumed that this was when they started the decorations, most were up, but not all. The balconies in the atrium magically got decorated during the week. If it were for the special, I think it would have been done before the ship set sail....but I am not sure.

Last year we boarded on 11/15 and the greens were all out. That night they put up the tree in the atrium and the CM I talked to said that everything was done. It seems to be the regular time for them. :)

last year and this year we sailed - leaving 2 Sundays before Thanksgiving on the Wonder - both times it was fully decorated when we boarded.
