HOLIDAY code update {from the wknd disneystore.com shopping}

Thanks for the tip! I did immediately place three separate orders for costumes/Christmas presents. It took all three but have only received an email confirmation for the first one! Just tried once again to order something and it says no such promo code exists. Hopefully I will get the things I ordered!

Is anyone else having problems with login to the site? It keeps telling me that the holiday code if only for registered users. I am a registered user and won't allow me to login. Can someone help???
 
I just tried this and got the Oops No promotions has this code message... Did I miss all the good deals?

I cannot tell you thank you enough for posting this thread. It is discontinued now, but I raced to the site on Saturday, and got Toy Story 1 and 2 on DVD, 2 sets of pajams, a gba game for my daughter, a snowglobe for my mil, and a computer game for my son, all for $65 (and that was mostly shipping, as each item was ordered separately to take care of the coupon!) Wow!!!! I do love a bargain.

I ordered two gift cards and the discount was applied to each order. I received an email from Disneystore.com that my order for the gift cards has been cancelled. Because the code is not available for gift cards.

I really think it was a glitch in the system to allow us to make multiple purchases. Hopefully they will honor the price on the items we ordered saturday. If not, I wasted 3 hours of my day shopping on their site.;) My orders for the gift cards are showing up as cancelled by a representative. BUT so far my other orders are showing a status of 'active' and 'in the shipping warehouse'. Keeping my fingers crossed on these orders.

Well, it certainly makes sense that the sale wouldn't apply to gift cards. I'm surprised they accidentally allowed that in the first place. Sounds like you still did well.
 
I just got off the phone with the Disneystore.com. They said too many people were abusing the coupon. Now you have to order and then mail in the coupon and they will credit you the $15. I was a day late and $15 short.

Yes Dave -- I did not expect the order to go thru. I tried it just for the fun of it. Imagine my surprise when it worked! Of course I had to order two -- one for each of my kids - so I gave it a shot. I am not upset that the order was cancelled. I was kidding my husband that we could spend all day ordering gift cards and apply them to a cruise --- only paying $400 for every $1000 worth of Disney credit!;)
 
Don't feel too sorry for the Disney Store. I went online to take advantage of the HOLIDAY coupon, but it was already turned off. However, I dropped $100 there anyway!

I think Disney is wrong about doing that. They should have to honor all the orders they raked in.
 
I just recieved an e-mail from the disney store...you must have the holiday card and mail one in for each order by midnight november 23rd they will reimburse you 39 cents for postage if they do not recieve your card your order(s) will be cancelled....it was fun while it lasted...
