I have just been informed that the company I work for will be closed the week between Xmas and New Years. Is there any possibility of getting decent airline rates during that time period?????

Right now I am looking at $400-$500 per ticket :earseek:

I doubt it, but check as many airline and travel websites as you can. Call a travel agent too.

If you do find a bargain, it will probably require a connecting flight and/or a flight leaving at 6:AM or 11:PM.

Good luck!

Bob

Also be prepared for long lines at the airport. Allow extra time to get through the airport to your gate.

I'm sure its a busy travel week. Schools are closed and many businesses shut down this week.

Good Luck :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I bought my tickets for Christmas last Feburary. Capacity is down, fuel is up. Try surrounding airport. What the heck just pay 500 a tickets it's Christmas

Thanks everyone for the info. From everything I have read we will need to jump on something soon if we decide to go as rates seem to go up not down this time of year. We will be traveling the week between Xmas and New Years so we need to make plans soon.
