holding packages at Values

I was planning on sending a surprise basket down to give to my son after we check in for our September trip. We're staying at ASMo. I was going to send the package down so it arrived about a day or two before us. A friend mentioned that value resorts charge $14/day to hold packages and only Deluxes hold free of charge. I've never seen this mentioned on the boards. Is this true???

Can't be. Many swaps (refrigerator / coffee pots) use the package hold, and there is no one willing to pay $14 per day for this.

I have never seen anything posted as such.

I had my water delivered today and I will not be checking in until 7/20. I will surprised if they charge me a fee.

Also, for the fridge swaps the fridges are held and people are not charged.

Thanks everyone- I didn't think they would charge, but wanted to make sure. I'm just going to send down a box that will have a small basket of goodies for my son (autograph box, sunglasses, hat, etc.) It's cheaper for me to do it myself (scouring the Disney Store clearance aisle and the Target $1 section) than order one, but if I had to pay for the hotel to hold it I'd have to rethink it!

1) Convention resorts do charge for receipt and holding package for conventioners.
2) Other resorts do not charge for receipt or holding.

NOTE:At convention resorts, if you send something in, you do not know whether a regular-resort-bellman or convention-bellman will receive and store the package. The union contract dictates payment for conventions, so you might be charged, without recourse.
