Hold music is so bad!

I'm on hold with Apple (my 3rd ipod shuffle has broken, my computer doesn't detect it) and the hold music is so bad! Don't they want you to stay on the line?!

HP used to have horrible AWFUL music. I can't even describe it it was so bad!

I spent the whole day calling and re calling the A/C repair place. They came out 2 days ago and something doesnt work again today.
The music they play is light background music with a woman talking about how they know how aggravating it is for your A/C to break and how you should not have to wait for a servicemen to get out to fix it.

Right. The reason I was calling every 2 hours until 6 pm this evening, was he was supposed to get here by 9 am!!

I love the music when you are hold with Disney, and yes I sing along. But does anyone else notice how it seems to skip a bit.
