Hold down the fort, I'll be home Tuesday!

We're leaving as soon as Bill gets home. I think I have everything I need. You'd think by now I'd have this packing thing down pat! NOT!! I still take forever to pack. I keep changing my mind about what clothes I want to bring. In case you don't know where I'm going, we're going to New York City for the Toy Fair. It's an International Expo for distributors to show retailers (us) their products. It's also the time where the new items are showcased. We'll spend one day, maybe half of another day at the Toy Fair and then spend the rest of the time exploring the city. I have to hit the Disney Store, of course. It's an amazing three floor store!!!!!!! We haven't decided whether we're going to Ground Zero or not. We have mixed emotions about this. We'll see how we feel once we're in the city. After that, we just go with the flow and do what we feel like.

Have a good trip Barb. Not sure if I would go to ground zero. Part of me would like to go to see the sight and to pay my respects and part of me would want to not be there. Let us know what you decided.

I saw something about the Toy Expo today & it made me think of you, Barb! Of course, you're already there by now so you won't see this till you get back......

Personally, I thought our visit to Ground Zero was an incredible experience. We went in Oct on our way to see MIL in Brooklyn. There's memorials all over the city, though. We saw our first one right in Grand Central Station as soon as we got off the train. It really was a very moving, emmotional experience.

Now the Disney Store, that's definitely a don't miss experience!
