I have been asking endless questions in regards to DVC over the past 2 years and have finally decided to bite the bullet. After waiting 4 hrs for Disney to call back,(Pretty long lunches there eh?) i decided to browse resales and even asked some questions of the experts. i know that all the resale professionals here are great and I ended up finding a contract with SSR with a better use year for us and have put in a tentative offer.... waiting to hear from buyer.
Yes.. it's about $200 more but it also had 300 pts available now with 150 more due in Feb/07.. so technically we'd have 450 to play with for the next 2 years.
So send me lots of pixie dust, warm fuzzies and LOADS of luck that we'll know if we got it or not in the next few weeks.



Ps. Thanks to anyone who rented us points and gave us advice.... it was/is greatly appreciated.

Owner accepted our offer and Jaki is sending me contracts/papers tomorrow. When she recieves both contracts, she'll then ask for our deposit and we'll just wait to see if we pass ROFR.
Hoping to book for early fall.....
Does anyone know if I'll still be able to get a 2-bedroom if I can't book until April???

Hopefully everything goes great. I would think you should be able to get a 2 bedroom somehwere in the fall. You will be within the 7 month window, so ms can tell you every resort that has 2 bedrooms available.
