HoJo Reservations Issues ...

I'm trying to make Hojo Entertainment rate reservations for December. I went on the website, put in the dates, chose the rooms shown at the entertainment rate and put in my cc number to guarantee the reservation. I click "ok" to book it and it comes back saying "rate plan not available". I did check and this days are eligible for the entertainment rate.

Anyone know what's going on? Is it because my vacation isn't until December? Is there a lenth to how long they book out? The in-house reservations staff doesn't work on Sundays so I'm turning to you for help. Anyone know what's wrong here???

Probably need to call them. When you enter the promo code does it show up?
 
The best way to book Entertainment rates is to call the hotel and ask for In-House reservations. I'm not sure they're open on weekend (and with tomorrow being a holiday, not sure about it either), but the front desk will be able to tell you when you call when in-house is open.

Yes, when I enter the promo code it shows up as a choice but once I click to finalize the reservation it gives me that error.

I feel like stamping me feet and whining "I want to book today!!!". Guess I'm just too excited and will have to wait until tomorrow...
 
What rate are you using? The one I have the special rates aren't avaiable for december. The entertainment code website I go to only goes out to June.
 
Same thing happened to me for june! Jennifer said the website often has issues booking the Ent rate for some reason and you will need to call and book with them directly. :)
 
The same thing happened to me so I just called them over the phone. I have booked for December also.

I felt the same way because I had to wait for in-house to open too. I was almost late for work because I was so excited and wanted to book immediately.

After I booked it I swear I was almost vibrating with excitement.

With HoJo Anaheim you don't use any site through entertainment.com. You ONLY use HoJoAnaheim, and their discussion boards have a whole section on their special entertainment book rate. And if you call to book, you ONLY call the 714 number during pacific time business hours and ask for "in house reservations". To use a different site or call the 800 number or call the 714 number at a non-pacific-business hour time is to set yourself up for an Entertainment rate that's NOT the special rate. :)



OP, sometimes you have to go day by day on the site, to get the ent rate. So if you really really want to book it online today and if "no one's home" at In House, you can do that. Then you can call to have them link the individual reservations, or tell them when you get there.
 
That also happened to me too! So Frustrating! I called the 1800 number(main line) and gave the ent. rate code "sd 50" and they were able to pull up the rates at the entertainment rate price. Not sure if they are open 24hrs or Sundays, but that may work. Good Luck!

You got the 59/69/79 pricing???? That's amazing, since the 800 number usually likes to play the "it's only a % off, I don't know what you're talking about" game.

I know. I was also suprised that the promo code worked with the main line number. Maybe the girl I spoke with was new:) !
 
That's great! She might also have been around long enough to have learned something about the Anaheim hotel. :)
 
Do you have to pay in full when you make the ressie or do they want a nights deposit etc?

I'm curious about this as well. Last year they didn't charge our card until we checked out. I'm wondering if it's the same.
 
Nope, they just take your cc number and charge when you're there (on check out)

Tried that before too and it still wasn't working. She just said they often have issues with that specific code. I think it's easier just to call.
 
For everyone making december ressie, are you using a 2009 or 2010 ent card. I don't have mine w/ me (i'm at work) but I thought it expired in november. Will I need to buy a 2010 card?

Yes, they expire in Nov. so I'll be buying a 2010 book closer to my trip.
