after reading some threads and going to the HoJo website and seeing the pictures we have decided to book them for our hotel. I do have a couple of questions.
Does anyone know of any promo codes to use ?
Also what is the difference in price for a kids suite, the website did not quote a price on that. A queen double is going to be 109.oo a night ( plus tax)
just wondering if it was worth it to upgrade.
Thanks!!

Many times, if the website does not quote a price when you punch in your dates, it indicates that that particular type of room is not available.

The BEST discount you can get is the entertainment rate. I know there is a code for this, but I don't know it. I've always gotten the rate by making my res's online, then emailing in-house reservations when the rate is available to modify the rate. Keep in mind, you do have to have an entertainment card at check in to do this.

As far as I know, Kids Suites do not get the full ent rate (which is 50% discount), but it does get a 15% discount.

Hope that helps!

The code for the entertainment rate is SD50, however, whenever I try and use it, I get all the way to the end and the reservation won't go through. I always just call in house reservations and book directly with them.

It looks like I am JUST missing the dates by a week.
I am going Feb 21-25. It still says if you call you can get a 15% off discount. I will try it today! Thanks :)

You can mention the Dis and get the 15% discount as well, it doesn't have to be the Ent discount. Keep watching, they may add your dates, if you've already booked just call them back and they will adjust the room rate to the Ent Rate. You can buy yourself an Ent Card from eBay for about $5.

Keep checking - they add new dates often, and sometimes very last minute.

Do you need the Orange County Entertainment Book, or just any book with the card?

I booked last week with the AP rate at $79, but would much rather pay $59 and the ET rate is available the whole weekend we are already going!

Any entertainment card - you can also get a card on Ebay, usually for a few bucks.

I did not know they did an AP rate. Where can I find out this info? DD wants to spend a night down there for her bday instead of having a party.

AP rate is a 20% discount off of the regular price. Use LNAP on the website, or just call and tell them you have an AP.

Sooo..I booked using the AP rate also.
Would like the Entertainment rate if it becomes available for my dates......I don't have the card. I belong to Red Hat Society and they do everything online. So I can print out the coupon for it 2 weeks before I go.
Anyone just used the coupon? Or do you need a card? Will the Red Hat card work....it may say entertainment on it...I need to check.

Hi Meriweather!

In order to get the Entertainment Rate, you have to be able to show your valid Entertainment Card at check-in [not the coupons]. :goodvibes

Hope this helps!

YAY! They added more dates and I will be there! So I have my local towns book.. it is called a dixie direct card. I live in Utah.. would they except that or does it have to be an "Entertainment " brand card?
Thanks!

It has to be the Entertainment book card. I have never heard of them taking anything different.

They've now posted your dates for Feb.

We really like the HOJO and were hoping to stay there this time but the kids have voted to stay closer for the same price so unless they offer up our dates, I'll have to cancel my reservation. I'm still hopeful though. lol

Where are you staying?

Just thought I'd mention for those of your AP-ers in this thread that the AP Discount now works like the ET Discount- with the $59/$69/$79$/99 per night + tax rates being available on some days, and then the flat 20% discount being available on the nights that it's not. And there's a thread to check those dates here!

I'm so excited about this new, deeper discount for Disneyland Annual Passholders! And it's just in time for Valentine's Day! :lovestruc
