I was reading that the Hojo has Playstation game systems in every room. Is this still true?

What sort of special things (microwave, refrig, etc.) can I expect in my room? I have a package with Alaska Airlines, so I have no idea what kind of room I have (I am guessing the "cheap" room, LOL).

Thanks!!

I don't know about Playstation. They didn't have them in standard rooms in '05, but things change. If you have a standard room you'll have a minifridge, ironing board and iron, and blowdryer. At least, that's what we had. I think you have to upgrade to the mid-quality rooms to get the microwave.

If so that's new. We never had a Playstation in our rooms. Fridge and Micro yes but not a Playstation.

We stayed at HoJo's in December, I didn't see a playstation. I'm pretty sure my DS12 would have found it if it was in the room. :)

Hi!

I copied and pasted this from the Hojoanaheim.com site.

Room Amenities:
  • Coffee maker and fridge
  • Microwaves in Premium and Deluxe rooms
  • Free wired Internet access hairdryer, iron and ironing board
  • HBO, CNN, Disney Channel, Discovery, ESPN, Golf Channel and pay-per-view movies
  • Most rooms with dual sinks and balcony
  • Free in-room safes
No playstation..hope that is not too much of a bummer.

There was no Playstation when we stayed there last summer. But you are going to Disneyland...what are you doing sitting in the room playing games?!?:rotfl:

After reading your question, and while googling, I asked hubby if he remembered seeing the handheld controllers, and he said that yes, he does remember that. And I do too, sort of maybe.

And then I notice hotelfun4kids dot com says that they have pay per use controllers.

A question about it from last May went unanswered on the hojo anaheim discussion board.

I suppose tomorrow, pacific time business hours, a call should be made!

I don't care either way. I doubt the playstation would get used much (if at all) even if it was in the room.

I was just curious, as I don't remember anything like that being mentioned.

I read about it in the Birnbaum Disneyland 2009 Guide.

"Most have two queen beds, and all have a refrigerator, Sony Playstation, and free high-speed internet access."

Thanks!

I do remember the controllers but it wasn't for Playstation, it was for games they offered on their pay-per-view service. I could be mistaken, wouldn't be the first time.

that one thing I love about Disney is that my boys don't even think of their danged video games while we're there. Okay, so Innoventions was their favorite thing at WDW and they chose to spend our last morning there rather than riding things we missed, but at the resort, they don't think of games.

Then again, we don't spend much time in the room. We usually leave the room a good hour before rope drop and get back a half hour to an hour after the parks close!
