If you have stayed in the kids suite is the freeway noise really bad? I read somewhere people said to request the room closer to the elevator or was it farther from it? When you can you make the request when you check in? We will be there this wed

We stayed in a Kids' Suite on the 6th floor -- the one closest to the freeway, AWAY from the elevators. I was also worried about the infamous freeway noise. It was not an issue for us at all. When I initially made my reservation 4 months ahead of time I requested the 6th floor if possible. They were able to honor my request. The freeway noise was very loud when we first walked into the room, but we got used to it within 10 minutes and never noticed it again. Our 3 kids, ages 3, 6, and 9 at the time, didn't notice the freeway noise at all. I was expecting to have to drown out the noise with the A/C but we didn't have to do anything. Now if you open the balcony door it is a different story. Not sure why anyone would sit out there with that view anyway. But honestly, it just wasn't an issue AT ALL for us. We loved our 6th floor location at the end of the hall. Our "neighbors" were the outside wall and the ice machine area. Can't get any better than that. Enjoy your stay!
