HOJO...in room "treat"

Does anyone know if HOJO offers any kind of package surprises that you can get to have waiting in your room when you arrive like the resort hotels do? I would love for the kids to have something waiting on the bed when we open the door to welcome them.

Hojo receive deliveries from Disney Vacation Planning. They have some great packages albeit a little pricey

DVP only does the resort hotels. at least that is what I have heard.

Apparently as of last year they do Good Neighbour hotels as well. Lorealle at Hojo confirmed it for me last October (although I still didn't get anything )

I am just cheap, but I got presents for my kids ahead of time on Disneyshopping.com and gave them one present every day we were there in the morning before we left. They were excited for their present of the day and got to wear it (it was necklaces and shirts) every day so they did not ask me to buy them everything they saw at the parks!

Granted that it was a year ago, but the Hojos gift shop put together a birthday gift for my daughter that was waiting in our room when we arrived. I don't remember all the choices they gave me but I went with a tshirt and mickey plush toy.

DH surprised me for our anniversary last September and had our room at Hojos filled with balloons. The company he used was F2 Balloons & Design. I know others on the boards used them after I posted. They do gift baskets too.

This looks so fun! That was so thoughtful of your DH to do! What a great idea!

So the HOJO will let an outside company set something up in your room before you arrive, or how did your DH arrange it, do you know? Or maybe Lorealle can answer . . .

Yes, he is!

DH called Hojos ahead of time and let them know F2 would be coming. I think someone from Hojos actually waited with F2 while they decorated? I may have that wrong, but I think that's what DH said. We arrived late that night, I believe F2 was there in the early evening, well after check-in time.

I made sure we popped all balloons that we weren't taking home and cleaning up that mess before we left. I certainly didn't expect the maids to have to take care of that.....
