I just got back from a stay on April 17-21. Stayed in a deluxe queen room that had fridge, microwave, keurig coffee maker, four keurig coffee thingys & four paper cups w/lids in room. There are packets with sugar/creamer/stir stick. There is an in-room safe, ironing board & iron and hair dryer. Ice bucket in room and and ice down the hall. We were in Building 2 on pool side. Could hear freeway in hallway but not in room. Could see fireworks from balcony. I thought that Hojo mini market was overpriced, but not outrageous. If you travel a few blocks south on Harbor you will come to a super Target that has better prices on milk, breakfast items and water. Your coffee will taste much better if you use bottle water over tap. I think I paid about the same price for a half gallon of milk at Target as I paid for about 10 ounces at the Hojo minimarket. Cereal cups were at least .25 cheaper at Target. So if you have a car, I would stop by the Target and stock up. It sells a lot of food items to travelling families. Pool has towels. You can print out a boarding pass in the lobby but may have to wait to get to one of two computers terminals as there is no time limit as to how long a person can be on and I had to wait through a string of teens checking Facebook, etc.
Due to an unforseen event it ended up being only my daughter and I in the room. The sinks are inside the bathroom as opposed to being outide on a vanity. If my husband had been there, this would have slowed us down in the mornings.
I'll be there in a couple of weeks and will find out the price and let you all know.I was interested in buying bottled water close to or at HoJo's since we are flying and won't have a rental car.
Love this thread! It has been SO helpful for me!!

Here's another map that shows the room layouts, and on the last page shows a map of the buildings on the property.

I was able to get the Kids Suite at $99 for one night of our 4.![]()
I think it depends what side of building 1 and 2 you are on, if you are on the pool side (Deluxe rooms) then you wouldn't hear the freeway, but if you got a standard room (like through DisneyTravel) then you would be on the freeway side and it might be loud.
Not necessarily. Our 3/09 room was a standard two queen (1215 I think) on the Disney side of the building. The only time we heard freeway noise was when I opened up the blacony door.
When I called yesterday to update my rates I asked about this. I have reserved a standard King and requested Bldg 2. The employee I spoke with told me that all Kings in Bldg 2 face the pool and not the freeway. I have no idea if this is the case for standard queens though....
I really hope they add our 2 nights in June. I would really really like to stay there but not for only $25 less a night than the PPH.
Hope I'm not going too OT here, but how do you know what the Entertainment rates are? Is it somewhere on their website? Also, I know they used to give an AP discount...do they still do that??
