How do I find out which days are available? I swear someone had a link to a list but I can not find it :surfweb:

Yup that’s the link! Remember to check it frequently, because the dates can change without notice. :)

Hey, you never know. I got the kid's suite for the retro rate for 3 nights last year during my kids' spring break. Ours was a couple of weeks before Easter last year, so I'm sure that helped, but it was still April.

FYI, cuz it's GREAT news! I JUST booked our trip for May at Hojos this morning and they actually changed their cancellation policy the lady said! It was non-cancelable before to prevent "date hoarding", but now they say that you are able to cancel with no penalty up to 30 days before your trip! ;)

That is good to know, thanks for the update.

I don't think I could cancel a reservation at HoJos though ... maybe change a reservation (to stay longer!).

We were thinking of getting the online membership. Can you still get the deal with that? Thanks!

I need to call and find out about their new cancellation policy. I want to book for October but it's too far away to be booking a non cancellation rate. Ya never know whats going to happen between now and then. :confused3

Thanks for the heads up!

No problem! Glad to help. Yea, I would call. She said they changed their policy, so that says to me that should be for all dates since it's a "policy", ya know? Good luck! KUP on what they say! ;)

I'd love to know too. I want to go the first week of December. They don't actually have any dates posted yet for that week, so while I am anxiously waiting (hoping), I'm also not sure whether I will phone and book them, unless the cancellation policy has changed. Maybe they should make exceptions for past guests that they've never had an issue with (as far as making and then cancelling reservations). This will be our 4th time there since our first visit in 2007.

It is likely that there won't be any December dates at Entertainment rates. They will fill up completely without it.

I booked earlier today for next month (over the phone) and was told the cancellation policy was up to 48 hours before. I gave my card info and was told I wouldn't be charged anything until check in. I am staying three days, only one was at a retro rate, the other two were at the AP discount rate.

Then again, I just read that mixed rate ressies revert to the 48 hour policy. If you book your entire stay as retro rate, it's the non-cancel able policy.

But the "non-cancelable" policy is supposedly what they changed. The lady told me you can now cancel up to 30 days in advance. I even questioned her on it a bit since it said the non-cancel/date hoarding thing on the hojos entertainment rate site, and she said yep, they just changed the policy and it's 30 days now. :confused3 Makes it nice for people who do wanna book farther out for sure!

I did hear this but only if you book over the phone with in house reservations.

I just booked the retro rate for dates in May (phoned in) and she told me that it was a 30 day cancellation policy.

Which is good since I am going in Feb solo and might get an annual pass then. If I don't get the annual pass, then I won't qualify for the retro rates and will have to cancel my ressie.

If you still go in may all youll need is a entertainment book card.

I am just wondering if there is something on this year that there hasn't been in the past that will make it busier than usual? I've see that from Thanksgiving to week before Christmas is a "low" season (is it ever low at DL :rotfl: ) I've seen dates in earlier December in other years, even last year. We are thinking of going in early December but may change to January if December is going to be busier than usual.

Do you think HoJo will change my rate if I already booked a kids suite in Nov. 2012 at the AP rate but would prefer the Retro rate? I originally didn't book the retro rate because I want the flexibility to cancel if I need to (I am ok with the 30 day policy, but I had thought the retro was non-refundable).
