Professor North: "Hello class! Today, we will study hippogriffs in class! You will each take turns trying to ride them today. Unlike most animals, these animals will need to accept you riding them. Do not ever call them names. To approach them you must bow to them , and they must bow back, then you can ride them. Who wants to go first?"

Professor North: "Hello class! Today, we will study hippogriffs in class! You will each take turns trying to ride them today. Unlike most animals, these animals will need to accept you riding them. Jolie: her hand shot straight up. She felt so embarrassed, her hand started to waver. She looked at the hippogriff. It was beautiful, with its pale blue feathers.

Lucas: Luke sat in the back of the classroom. He could not pay attention, let alone participate in today's lesson, but he pulled off the look of someone paying attention very well. It was a look he had developed perfectly.

Veronica: Veronica sat in class, taking notes, trying to pretend her burned and scarred hands didn't hurt her, that she didn't believe her face was now marred.

Ivy: Ivy paid attention diligently, having never had this class before she definitely had to catch up.

Alexei: Alexei was following along with the class when his eye caught Veronica. The girl looked his age, and all alone, like some tragic heroine. Plus, he thought he saw - were those burns and scars? "Who's that over there?" he whispered, subtly nodding his head towards Veronica.

Jolie: she walked slowly over to the creature. She bowed to the hippogriff, who bowed back. She put out her hand and the hippogriff nuzzled is soft, feathery head into it. It made a purring noise. She looked to her teacher for guidence.

Jean Pierre: He was amazed at how calm Jolie was around the creature. It was serendipitous.

Jackson: He stood with Gab holding her hand. This was his least favorite class because he never did well with animals.

Freya: "Alaine, once you do your biting what will your escape plan be? Surely the staff will hear it?"

Prof. Linus: He was in his office drinking something out of a flask, something he probably shouldn't be drinking. He feared for the students who Alaine was going to attack.

Jolie: she slowly climbed onto the creature's back. It bobbed it's head and fluffed out it's wings. They were much larger than she had thought. She stroked one of her wings and saw Jean Pierre. She smiled at him. She felt so calm around the creature, although some students looked very tense, like it was going to attack.

Gabrielle : she marveled at how beautiful the hippogriff was. She was jealous of the girl on it's back.
