Holly: She nodded. "I suppose the teachers need time to get someone to fill in for Jay before they do anything. Or maybe Professor Marcus will, she's deputy," she said, more to herself than them.

Viola: " Viola. I need to go now." She went back into the common room. " What do you know about Jane?" she asked Vanessa.

Holly: She looked up. "You didn't know," she said. She'd forgotten that most of the school had been sleeping, so there hadn't been time for her death to spread. "Professor Jay was killed last night."

Holly: "Jane," she remembered. "Yeah, I heard about that. Cindy wasn't doing too well when I saw her, but I believe that was just after she found out. Jane's been helping her. Her mother's a ghost now."

Gabrielle: she woke up. She realized she had slept in. Oh well. She sluggishly got out of bed, walked to the common room and sat down on the couch in front of the fire. She spent the next twenty minutes just staring into the fire, sighing occasionally.

Bass: Bass was really worried about Jane. He almost lost her again.

Veronica: "That's a long shot, we all know it. The best we can hope for is no one else dying this week."
