Veronica: She stood by, intending on accompanying him to the ship.

Melanie: She waited as the Beauxbaton students gathered their things.

Lannie: She was talking to Jolie a bout how sad she was that Anya was leaving. The ghost definitely helped her feel better.

Anya: With a salute to her head of house, she went to see Alexei. "See you in a couple days."

Alexei: "You too."

Anya: She went to Claybourne's office and Flooed to Salem.

 

[Fairywings]

Evan: He was waiting for the Durmstrang students.

Alexei and Veronica: They walked in silence, after exchanging addresses and saying what needed to be said.

Holly: It was sad to see the exchange students go, but, as she hadn't been particularly close to any of them, she would handle it.

Veronica and Alexei: When they stood on the dock, they kissed one last time, long and slow and sweet, much to the amusement of the Durmstrang kids on the boat who came to pick them up, wolf-whistling. They pulled apart and Veronica watched as Alexei got on the boat and bantered light-heartedly with his school mates and endured the teasing. She watched as the boat sailed off and out of sight.

The transfers had gone.

Emmett: "Edeline, will you marry me?"

Edeline: She bounced up and down. "Yes! Oh my gosh, yes!"

Emmett: He slid a ring on her finger.

 

[Fairywings]

Emmett: "They don't understand our love."

Edeline: "Then who cares about them? The only thing that matters is us after all! Let's go somewhere far away, where they can't bother us!"

Emmett: "Are you serious?"

Edeline: "Of course I do! You're my entire world, Em. As long as you're around, I need nothing else. As long as I have you, I need no one else."

Emmett: "You want to run away with me? What about graduation?"

Edeline: "Who cares about graduation? Graduation doesn't matter to me. Let's just elope, leave the world behind."

Emmett: This was music to his ears. "I know a place we can go. An island not on any map, with a comfortable manor, that no one knows about, hidden and protected by wards. How does that sound?"

Edeline: "It sounds like the perfect place to run away to and never return, to be forgotten by the world. Let's go, now."

Emmett: "As my princess commands, so mote it be." He made sure she was clinging to him securely and he apparated to his island.
