OOC: Mildly depressing stuff ahead.
Alec: Alec stroked Eris' hair lovingly and gazed at her beautiful blue eyes for a minute, closing them so it looked like she was sleeping. He began to choke on his own tears and looked around, finding her wand lying on the ground. He bit his lip and tried to remain calm, tring to keep it all inside. Alec lost it within two seconds. He let out a depressing sob that echoed the room. He hoped, rather prayed, that no one would ever have to know what had happened to her. He couldn't let her reputation be shattered.
Alec hugged Eris' limp body and whispered a story into her ear. He used to tuck her in at night and tell her this exact story. It wasn't one he liked to tell.
Alec said, "Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess named Eris. Eris had everything she had ever wanted, for she was great. And her parents died, so he uncle took her in to his care. But the princess' uncle lied to her about who her real father was. It hurt the princess so much that she ran away. Her uncle promised himself that he would never forgive himself. But then the princess found it in her heart to forgive him, and just like that, they all lived happily ever after in Princess Eris Tridentia's castle."
