Hogwarts RP part 10

OOC: I'll do both, then. You'll see.

Melanie: She had dug out the letter from her drawer again, wondering whether to look at it; she set it aside, realizing she had papers to send.

After quickly filling out the papers she rolled up the parchment, but became sidetracked. When she got back to work she grabbed the wrong scroll and sent it off, completely unaware of what she had sent Evan.

OOC: shall PM it to you

OOC: Okay.

Evan: A thoughtful look crossed his face as he finished the old page. He couldn't call himself that surprised. He cast his patronus, and smiled at the way his lion was so bright. "Mel, we need to talk. I'm on my way." He shoved the letter into his pocket and left the room.

Melanie: She frowned slightly, wondering, as she received his patronus. Had she written something wrong?

Melanie: "It's open." She was still quite puzzled.

Evan: He stepped in, holding up the note in one hand and his other hand signaled for her to be quiet. "I don't think you meant to send this, and if I know you as well as I believe I do Melanie, you'd deny what it said and what it meant until I went deaf. But in reply to this, I'd tell you I knew - at least, I knew in 1998. Now, I'm not sure, we both grew up. But then I knew, and the complete, whole, honest to Merlin truth was that I felt the same. In fact, when I ran, part of me wanted and expected you to run after me, because you were Melanie and you would always do that sort of thing and I needed you then more than ever. But I didn't call you, I didn't write you, and I certainly didn't tell you how I felt, because I was a coward. For one moment, I was not bold, I was not brave. And I regret it. I don't know how you feel now - Corbin could give you more than I ever could in some ways. And I was with Georgie, and I liked it - but although it felt right, she needed me, it felt so wrong at the same time. What you should really know is that I knew then, and I felt the same way - and I never stopped feeling that way." He dropped the letter on the desk and left the room, having said his piece and hoping he hadn't ruined the friendship.

Melanie: Her eyes widened in surprise when she noticed the letter, but she remained unnaturally still and quiet as she listened to him. She felt overwhelmed with thoughts, feelings: it was all so much to take in. As much as she wanted to yell, to scream at him for hurting her so many times, for hurting Georgie, and for leaving, she couldn't; for she knew, as much as she'd tried to convince herself otherwise, that she'd never stopped loving him.
"I was eighteen, Evan," she said, unsure whether or not he heard her. Eighteen, and yet so much wiser than she was now.

OOC: School was cancelled today. (Explains why I'm on at this time.) I'm going to work on writing up some endings for Eris. However, no matter what happens in the long run, my plan from the start was that she will not recieve a happy ending.

OOC: And on a different note, is there anything I can do with my characters now?

Eris: "I won't know what's going on unless you tell me," Eris pleaded. "I gotta know."

Alec: "It's too painful for people like you to know." he laughed. "You'll be shocked."

Eris: "Uncle?" she asked.

Alec: He replied, "Yeah?"

Eris: "Do I know the girl?"

Alec: He sighed. Alec replied, "You do."

Eris: Eris grinned. She whispered, "Tell me."

Savi: "Oh dear girl, I don't want to become alive again. I just need someone to tie up a few loose ends. I need you two to eliminate the last few death eaters, that way nobody will ever speak of our secrets. That includes Linus. I also want Melanie Black dead. She has crossed me, I need revenge."

Jackson: "Gin, your life is gonna be better now. It has to be."

Corbin: He disapparated to Mel. "You look distraught."

Gabrielle: she turned into a werewolf, it was very painful. She jumped out of her bed at Mungo's and flooed back to the cabin, falling at Jackson and Nagini's feet. "H-hi."

Nagini: "Hey." She turned to Jackson and smiled.

Gabrielle: she jumped up and laid down, her head rested in Jackson's lap. "Yes?"

Nagini: "I-I'm pregnant."

Gabrielle: "That's awesome!"

Nagini: "I did. I don't think she is too happy about it. But she said she'd support me."

Gabrielle: her tail wagged.

Sheila: Sheila felt something on the inside telling her that this was wrong. She said, "Kill professors?"

Meanwhile...

Lori: Lori knocked on Ivan's door to see him almost sleeping. She asked, "Listen Ivan, do you think our family will ever stop fighting?"

Ivan: Ivan mumbled, "I'nt know."
