I believe I have a way to get the message across, (it'd be either by accident or Evan would see through her) which would bring me back to the fact that I'm going to have her chew him out either way. OOC: I've had this letter written out and set side for ages. It's not to Evan, but if he accidentally sees it he'll know.

If Mel just accidentally let it show or said something (which I'll figure out exact wording if we do it) that would work, too, and she'd have to face it right there because she'd be with him.

Melanie: She had dug out the letter from her drawer again, wondering whether to look at it; she set it aside, realizing she had papers to send.

After quickly filling out the papers she rolled up the parchment, but became sidetracked. When she got back to work she grabbed the wrong scroll and sent it off, completely unaware of what she had sent Evan.
