Remy: He filled out the form, this one made him a little more upset. When he finished he gave it back to her. "Thank you for your help." Now he just had to hope that either foster care was not as bad as they made it out to be in the books and muggle movies or he got adopted quickly.

OOC: I realized just tonight that letters have become a huge part in the reasoning of Evan and Mel's relationship. If you remember Azkaban, she wrote him a letter to him just before then, suggesting that she trusted him and had at least spent time with him in school. It was also a letter that caused them to become a couple. Total coincidence there.

OOC: I realized just tonight that letters have become a huge part in the reasoning of Evan and Mel's relationship. If you remember Azkaban, she wrote him a letter to him just before then, suggesting that she trusted him and had at least spent time with him in school. It was also a letter that caused them to become a couple. Total coincidence there.

OOC: Letters are a huge part of the thread in general. They've been used in all sorts of instances.

OOC: that is very true. In this case specifically, it was just two major changes for her, and I really haven't had them come up in her case (that I can remember, I am very tired) otherwise.

Nagini: She was sitting with Joey, reminiscing about her wedding day. She started laughing. "I was so messed up back then, baby," she said to Joey, who was gurgling happily and playing with a stuffed animal. "Well, I suppose I'm still pretty messed up now, but at least I don't crave blood anymore-" she paused. "No, I don't." She looked down at her dark mark. "Jackson, I want you to know that this isn't a sign of my horribleness, it just symbolizes that even though I had a bad past, I can change. And I'm changing for the better. You're not even listening to me, are you?" She smiled. "Sweetheart, you're so cute." she stroked his curly dark hair gently and he looked up at her and smiled.

Darius: Darius was passing the hall when he saw it: Sylvester Vaughn had another death eater hurt Lucas, Luke bent over, then stood up tall, Sylvester threatening him. Darius immediately slipped down the hall until he stood behind Sylvester. Sylvester noticed him and spun around. "Get away from my godson." Then he punched Sylvester in the face.

Professor Black: "I swear, Veronica, I don't know what this school would do without you. It seems you've done a better job of keeping students alive than your professors..."
Finally, they made it to the hospital wing. She told the nurse about the students' injuries and left, hoping to find Evan nearby.

Veronica: "I just gotta go to class every day, I'm not in quidditch or in clubs. You guys have to teach, go to staff meetings, give detentions, make sure the castle's still running the way it should......it's easier for me to keep an eye on them. Although I do think I should have at least made prefect last year," she joked, ending with a tired chuckle. It was true, Veronica did do a lot for the school, she even spent afternoons working in the Hospital wings every other day. She never asked for anything, never demanded any respect, even though it would be nice if she could have a friend or two that could hang out with her without dying or getting hurt, or having people that would at least smile at her or say hello to her when they passed in the hallway. That would make the prejudice and responsibility feel so much lighter. "I'll be satisfied if I pass all of my NEWTs next year though."

But seriously, Veronica is/was like the guardian/protector of the students, and probably was better at it than the teachers

Ivy: "Really?" She was rooted to the spot. The thing the muggleborn was most scared of was death eaters.

Alexei: Alexei walked over to her. In this moment, Ivy looked strikingly like his younger sister, Anya. "It's all right, the aurors have checked the place. I'm sure nothing is going to happen to anyone." He held out his hand. "Crazy school we've transferred to, huh? Come on, I'll take you back to Ravenclaw tower."

Ivy: Ivy hesitated, then took his hand. "Okay."
