Hogwarts RP 9

OOC: wow. I'm at a track meet that started at 3:00 and ends at 11:00. :P

Georgie: "I feel bad that I used the spell. I just-I don't know how else to show it to people. It hurts so much. No one understands."

OOC: wow wow wow. 11? That's sort of late.

OOC: This is like a huge elaboration. Everything I've ever thought might have happened to her/relationship with her dad and all that is in there, too. It's very detailed, and I've been writing for several hours, so my hand is killing me.

OOC: Wow...

Melanie: "If you showed it to him. He might be able to tell you more than I."

OOC: yes, it is very late. The official meet ends at ten and there is an hour long bus ride. I still have one more race to run.

Georgie: "I don't know if I can do that to him. I hurt me so much doing it to you."

OOC: still, ouch.
Melanie: "I know." She conjured Georgie's dress and handed it to her.

OOC: just finished and my legs feel like Jelly. I was the last runner in a varsity relay. T-T

Georgie: "Should I wait to put it on?"

Rowling to produce Harry Potter play

Harry Potter is the boy who lived — in books, on screen and, soon, on stage. J.K. Rowling will produce a play based on the boy wizard's life before heading to Hogwarts, according to the Associated Press. In a statement released Friday, the author said the production will "explore the previously untold story of Harry's early years as an orphan and outcast," living in the muggle world. Though she will not be writing the script, Rowling will work with veteran producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender as co-producer and will work with the writer, whom has not yet been chosen, according to the AP. Rowling said she's received many stage pitches concerning the magical world of Harry Potter, but Friedman and Callender's imagination of it "was the only one that really made sense to me, and which had the sensitivity, intensity and intimacy I thought appropriate for bringing Harry's story to the stage. After a year in gestation, it is very exciting to see this project moving onto the next phrase," reports the Daily Mail. The play is expected to premiere in London's West End within the next two years.

Melanie: "You shouldn't be. I know things'll turn out well for you two."

Georgie: she sighed. "I don't."

OOC: AWESOME!

In other news, we still are at the meet and we were supposed to leave a half hour ago.

OOC: I saw that on Facebook this morning. So awesome!

Georgie: she sighed. "I don't."

OOC: AWESOME!

In other news, we still are at the meet and we were supposed to leave a half hour ago.

Melanie: "You'll see, Georgie," she said. Things would work out and they would live happily ever after, just as the muggle fairy tales had said.

OOC: Final product for Mel's story is 21 pages. Holy cow.
