Hogwarts Express soft openings going on now. Twitter is raving about it.

Diagon Alley not open for softs though.

I can't wait to hear all about it! Unfortunately, it will be a couple of years before I can see it for myself. I hope all you Dis'ers can experience this.:cheer2:

We rode it today also. Only about 20 min wait. Very nicely done. From Hollywood studios to wwohp was the best version. Worked great with storage of daughters wheelchair. It guy there told me it should be operating thru most of time leading to opening.

Ca you give more details on how the wheelchair part works? Lots of people are concerned about that.

The best thing it's a one way trip to the better parks.

Can you report on what they do with strollers? And what if you rented a stroller or wheelchair at the parks, do you just pick up a new one at the other end?

Lol, Not used to this Florida sun. it's roasting things that should remain uncooked. good to know my pals on the disboards here would catch my little error and not let me forget it.

I saw a place for the rental strollers which I think was a swap spot at each station. Also, noticed several families with personal strollers who used same process we used with my daughter's wheelchair. I think each train car can hold at least a couple in I think both the front and back but I am not sure about that. I thought it was a lot easier than the hoops we have to go through to take her wheelchair on forbidden journey.

Do I need the Disney park hopper ticket for that?

dont know if your kidding or if this is a serious question. just to clarify for people who are following the joke the hogwarts express doesn't transport you from disney world its transports you between universals two parks not Hollywood studios...

PammyK, how long of a wait did you have?

Sorry, didn't get back on the boards until just now.

Yesterday evening we waited about 10-15 minutes going from Hogsmeade to London. When we made the return trip from King's Cross in London to Hogsmeade, we waited significantly longer but there was a bit of a snafu with the train that caused a good portion of that delay.

I will also say that the Team Member "Porters" were fantastic, well trained, proud of their attraction, and very happy to be welcoming guests on board.

Oh, and make sure you don't miss stopping by to see if you can see the Thestral pulling the carriage when you are departing the Hogsmeade Station.
