I don't think I've ever watched as much hockey in my life as I have in the last five days. My five day hockey marathon started last Friday up in Montreal, when I watched my niece play two hockey games in a tournament.
On Saturday, I watched my niece play another game, and then went to watch a Montreal Canadiens v. Boston Bruins game. My beloved Bruins won 1-0. It was a fantastic game, and I got a great front row balcony seat on the blue line from a sclaper for just $7 above face value. The scalpers up in Montreal are a lot nicer than the scalpers here in Boston
On Sunday, I went to see my niece play in the Championship game of her tournament. Her team lost 1-0, but they played a tough game, and had many great scoring chances, but the goalie for the other team was just too good. My niece played a fantastic game, though. I was the proudest aunt at the rink
Yesterday, my hockey marathon continued at my nephews high school hockey game against my hometown. It was a very exciting, hard hitting game, but unfortunately, my nephew didn't even play in the game. He's one of the youngest kids on the team, and the coach just didn't play him at all.
My hockey marathon continued tonight when I got free tickets to the Boston Bruins v. Atlanta Thrashers game. It was a very exciting 5-4 win for the Bruins. My sister and I had a blast.
So, tomorrow night, I'll probably be going through withdrawals from not going to a hockey game. What will I do with my time?
