Hmmmm Rug.... Ride a thon prize Friday (photo

I like them. They look like grass, which is something I'm sure a lot of us could use in our rooms. And I agree with Alice, you can place them in certain areas and they create a shadow effect. Once you start to play with them you can see their potential, and I'm sure there will be many players who will think of fun and creative ways to use them.

Wonderful...

So, I just get home, thinking that I'll have two hours of straight riding in order to get my murky rugs...

GUESS AGAIN!!! The Kingdom is full...

Completely not fair... not at all...

So, I only have a certain amount of time to get these items, and I CANNOT EVEN SIGN ON?

EDIT: This makes me REALLY frustrated.

I only wish that dratted DC Monster comes back to get rid of all of you with mules signed on.

EDIT2: Now I'm forced to TRADE for items that people basically got for free?

Thanks, VMK...

I'm, uh, gonna 'call this one', in the medical sense:

The Dark Ride-a-thon is a Failure.

Slide-a-thon, Space Ride-a-thon, at least I was able to sign on and do them. There is absolutely no chance if the park is at capacity.

Ok, so the prize for the Ride-A-Thon for Friday is something called the ALR Painted Rug. Now, I don't want to sound pushy.. but any guesses on what ALR stands for????

Alice's something Ride would be my guess
Alice's lazy ride?
Alice's long ride?
Alice's LAG ride? (probably this one)

The dark ride a thon is 1 of the best ride events ever.

Players with 10 signed on create the issue. Keep trying, you'll get in.

Already Late Restricted access?

BECAUSE NO ONE CAN SIGN ONTO VMK?

I fail to see how it's better than the Slide-a-thon.

And going on 20 minutes and no luck.

I promise you all. I only have magical on, and she can't even get in. >_<

i'm waiting in a 10 person line to even get OFF the ride back into fantasyland courtyard... arg. This is precious ride-riding time people! AH!

But the real question is:
How many rugs of toxic dust bunnies does it take to cover a floor on VMK?

As Dara said, it depends on what room you are putting them in. Each room is a different size.

Here are the actual useable floor spaces for rooms:
Nautilus Submarine Room - 132
Haunted Mansion Conservatory - 135
Tiki Tiki Tiki Room - 140
Jungle Cruise Explorer's Tent - 148
Maleficent's Evil Fortress - 151
Tomorrowland Outerspace - 152
Skull Rock - 160
Pirate Prison Guest Room / Pirate Cannon - 166
Boot Hill Shooting Gallery - 178
Splash Mountain Bayou - 181
Blizzard Beach Guest Room - 186
Epcot Entrance - 191
Mad Hatter's Tea Party - 196
Animal Kingdom Safari Lodge - 204
Briar Patch - 207
Space Mountain Guest Room - 212
Expedition Everest Room - 214
Typhoon Lagoon Room - 221
Caribbean Town Square - 224
Mark Twain Steamboat - 250
High School Musical Gym - 269
VMK Baseball Diamond Room - 286
Football Room - 295
Tron Guest Room - 307

I got this information from another site. This gives you an idea, but won't exactly tell you the number of rugs needed.

after putting some rugs down in my room i also realize that they look amazingly like a big cloud of space gas too!!

Ok, so I'm a bit late on reading the boards, but ROFL!!:rotfl2:

As soon as dd8 saw it she wanted to sell it. It is what's on the ground around all the trees and hedges in the dark rooms, might come off more green when lit up in that room.

Is that you need these rugs as the base of the rides-in other words you have to put the tracks on these rugs in order to get the effect of the dark ride-kind of like how the blue boxes appear before the dark rides load-what do you think

I believe you are on the right thought process there. If you look in the Pan ride, the flooring is covered in many many places with green. It is these rugs. They look pretty cool when you put items on them.

I agree that I believe these rugs are ugly as I have said!

But I do believe that we must need these for the rides also so
and I am glad that i got a few of them! I haven't played with them yet... but I think that that they will come handy for us once we get our dark rooms and start building those rides! When we look at the flooring of these rides rooms we can't see anything either.... so I agree that it is used to cover things up!! :confused3 :)

CARP! I didnt know there was a ride-a-thon yesterday! That carpet would have done great in some of my upcoming comic strips!
