Hey everyone,

I have all my meals pretty much decided but can't pick anything for our last day. Here is the plan:

Hit DHS for morning emh and probably grab a lite breakfast in the park. After we've had enough DHS, we'll probably do an afternoon break back to our resort, POR. Then in the afternoon/evening, head to Epcot and have dinner at the counter service in morrocco.

So any ideas of where to eat? I'm open to counter service and table service ideas but would like them to be in the vicinity of where we will be that day.

Thanks in advance...looking forward to your suggestions!

At Epcot you could do fish and chips in Ireland which is counter service. and if you turn around after ordering there is a rose garden behind you where you can find a bench to eat at. Its off the beaten path and a quiet spot to eat.

It sounds like eating at your resort would be most convenient. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the dining options there. Sorry :guilty:

In Epcot, we like to snack around the world for lunch - maybe share something in Mexico and then share a bratwurst in Germany later. I'd also second going over to B&C which is what we plan on doing one day next week.

If it were me, I'd have lunch at the Studios, then go back to the resort for a nap. You could have appetizers and desserts in the cool darkness at Sci-Fi. By the time the mid-afternoon heat and the sugar crash hit you, you would be catching some zzzzzs. :faint:

Actually, It's Great Britain. There is no Ireland pavillion.

The CS places in DHS really leave much to be desired, so I would look elswhere for lunch. The food courts at POR and POFQ are good. Since you're heading back to POR anyway, either of them would work.

Technically it is... the United Kingdom.....but you are correct it is not the Ireland Pavillion... they do have Irish items for sale as well as Scottish etc..

I agree with other posters, maybe take a break back at your resort, eat lunch there, good food court, and then head out to Epcot later rested...

I have eaten at the POR food court several times. They have a good selection and it is a nice atmosphere. It isn't always crowded at lunch either since alot of guests are at the parks then. I have eaten at the table service restaurant (Boatwright's) there as well and it was quite good too. It was dinner time though, so I'm not sure what they offer for lunch.

We enjoyed the food offerings at the food court at the POR (hated Boatwright's for dinner--worse meal of our trip last year). Or as others suggested, fish and chips in Great Britian would be a good idea too.

Wow thanks for all the replies. I agree, the CS choices at DHS are a little lacking IMO. Which is why we are having such a tough time deciding. I really like to limit table service meals (to save money), but a lite lunch at Sci-Fi might be fun. I've always wanted to eat there. Or maybe just something at the POR food court. It is nice and peaceful (usually) in there around lunchtime.
