Hmmm...thinking out loud

I have roughly estimated our trip in September (Dh, Me, dd9, dd4, dd18mos) GVC at the Poly to be around $4000 (with AAA room rate, airfare and meals).

Just for fun I did a quote on disneyworld.com and if I add the dining plan it is giving me $3605. Now that does not include airfare (which should be around $125 each from DC) but I am sorely tempted because I like the idea of meals included (we'll breakfast at the Lounge in the am)

What do you think? Am I likely to get a better room rate and save a considerable amount of money if I do it seperately? And is there any way to get a meal plan without doing a WDW package?

If there are no codes available for you in September, the package may well be a better deal. Otherwise, I'm not sure.

But without codes, I'd be very tempted to take the package and not have to think about the meals.

I would have AAA get me a quote for the package. You may be able to reduce that cost a little more.
