I'm thinking 4 day would be ok, ie 1 day per park. BUT would 5 day be better so we can go back to whatever we really liked? Do they have to be consecutive days or is it possible to go to one disney park then say, seaworld, then back to another disney park? Or, even if the tickets don't have to be used on consec. days would it be better to do something like this...
Day 1. MK
2. Epcot
3.

Day 1 - Magic Kingdom
Day 2 - Epcot
Day 3 - Animal Kingdom
Day 4 - ?
Day 5 - ?
Day 6 - Seaworld
Day 7 - Universal
Day 8 - Universal again?

Since we're going in December I doubt we'll want to do any water parks.

AArgh - don't know!

Sandy:

Park hopper days never expire, therefore, you don't have to do consecutive days, or use them all on the same trip.

You don't say who will be going on your trip, therefore, I can't comment on the itinerary. Since I have young children, there is no way we could do 8 consecutive days in the parks and still enjoy ourselves. Usually we break up the week with a day off at the resort and lounging by the pool.

If you give more specifics, you will get more specific answers. Just remember, everyone is different, so what we tell you may not be best for you.

HTH,
Dan.

even though we go every year, i still get the 5 days. that way i don't feel rushed.
my itinerary for the end of feb looks like this

1-mk
2-sea world
3-day off
4-mgm
5-ak
6-mk and epcot
7-sea world (since second day is free)
8-mk and epcot

the days do not have to be consecutive and you can hop around all 4 of the parks as much as you want.
have fun!

Thanks for the replies.

I am a little worried about getting "parked-out" so taking a day off here and there is a great idea. At the time of the trip our kids will be 7, 12 and 14.

We will all enjoy Mickeys Christmas Party, but I'm thinking my DD would like Cinderella's character breakfast and not too sure her big brothers will go for that! So might find something for them to do with their Dad while us girls go to the castle.
