I have been busy with school and stuff and let my house get behind and have company coming over tonight.

I asked my 5 and 6 year old to pitch in and help me so we could get it all cleaned up before they went to school.

They actually did a GREAT job!! Poor things, little do they know that doing a good job is just going to get them to do more work, but hey, I could use the help.

I just knew they had to be good for something!!

You gotta love child labor!!! Congrats on getting them to help out. ::yes::

Do they get an allowance?

Nope, no allowance.

I give them money when they do extra things.

The helping me out part I figure they should do out of kindness. I help them out to be nice, they help me out to be nice.

Amen to that!

I never got paid to clean up around the house! I lived there too!

When I was doing a little extra cleaning Sunday morning for our Super Bowl party I broke out one of those new Mr. Clean Eraser sponges. My 2 DD's saw me taking the scuff marks off the walls and they were fighting over who would get the next turn.

I fixed them really good...split the sponge in half and they went all around my house cleaning walls!

DH was very impressed and it kept them from killing each other for a good 1/2 hour.

Woohoo, good one mazzarafe!

Can you get those at target?

Yep, I've bought them in Target ~ and they work great.

Good kids! I keep trying to get my boys to help, but they think the two of them can't work together and push the vacuum. They do dust surfaces - a good use of their tails. :p

They do work great and the strange thing is they do not smell at all.

I kept smelling my hands thinking that it would smell and nothing.

I told MIL about it and told her to buy some so she has something to give them to do when she watches them next time and they start getting their claws out.;)

I'm anxiously awaiting a Target to open in my area. I believe we are getting one about 5 minutes from me to open within the next year. I did get mine at Stop & Shop. They were about $2.50 and I had a coupon for $1 off. Took all the crayon marks off without any trouble at all.

Now if I could just use them once and a while to make DH disappear that would really make my day.;)
