Hitting the Anna & Elsa lottery

Last night, my husband and I took our 2 year old daughter to MK to see the Electrical Parade and we had a FP+ to see Cinderella and Rapunzel. We didn't stress ourselves about seeing A & E because A.) it was in the evening, and B.) our DD has been fortunate enough to have seen them a few times already in Norway and in MK thanks to FP+ :) Anyways, when we went to see Cinderella and Rapunzel the standby time for the other side of Fairytale Hall still said 120 minutes, though this was around 6pm and I figured they were finishing off those people in line who had been waiting hours to see A & E. We just went on with our evening and went to see Tiana and Naveen and then Tinker Bell and then Mickey Mouse and then found ourselves with about 40 minutes to waste before our FP+ was good for the Electrical Parade. We decided to go back to Fairytale Hall in the hopes the line for Aurora (and we figured Snow White) would be much less and our little girl could see them before the parade. The sign out front was of Aurora and the crown and so I asked a castmember if the visiting Princess might be Ariel since we don't see human Ariel much at all. The castmember sadly said no, but the good thing is the hall was literally a walk on. We waited no time at all, not even five minutes, and well, you can imagine our shock and complete surprise when we walked in and saw Aurora and then Anna and Elsa waiting to meet us!!!! I know I had to have had a look of just complete disbelief on my face, and the castmembers in the room just laughed and were like "I KNOW!" :goodvibes

Anyways, I had to share the story because maybe this bit of Disney Magic can help someone else out. I know it's far from a guarantee, but maybe, just maybe, you can have our good luck and find yourselves in front of Anna and Elsa without a 3-5 hour long wait. :wizard:

We were there last night and saw the same thing. Right about 8:30! I asked who the princesses were and she listed Aerial, Snow White (and I am not sure who else). The wait time was listed as 15 min and then 20 for the other side.

My daughters had seen everyone she listed. I leaned over to my 5 year old and said "sorry it's not Anna and Elsa - if it was we would wait". I WISH we would have just walked in or the CM would have "encouraged" us to go!! :guilty:

Instead we walked over to BTM - and walked in about 10 min. Not bad - but I wonder if my little one would have rather seen Anna and Elsa (you can bet I am NOT going to ask her!) ;)

ferd! I am so happy this happened for you-- you are too sweet and I am just thrilled over your good fortune!!

Great story!!! I feel like we don't see as many of them anymore. Glad to hear a magical day still can happen!!!

Awesome story, I bet your daughter was thrilled.

We lucked into a FP for them yesterday and even though I have boys, they were so, so in love. What a great experience, now I see why people wait hours for them!

I wonder if this means they are training more 'friends' for Elsa and Anna? That would be a very good thing!

My niece went on Friday and had a Fastpass for Rapunzel and Cinderella in the early evening/late afternoon (around 5). After doing the meet and greet with them they went ahead and did Anna and Elsa and waited no more than 35 minutes. Granted it was raining that day so the parks crowd may have been down some, but it also goes with what I saw Josh post in which he stated that later in the day the wait time still has a high number but the true wait is significantly shorter.

I've heard this multiple times, people waiting an hour or less in the later afternoon/early evening, so it's definitely worth trying.

And thanks everybody! We were pretty excited to get to see them with virtually no wait.

Here's a pic of them with my little Tinker Bell :wizard: I hope more of you get to experience this kind of Disney magic! :wizard:

Wow!!!!!! I might have cried if that had happened to us! ;)

We were at Disney last week and were fortunate to snag two FP's for Anna & Elsa during our visit. Our girls (twins) were decked out in their homemade Anna and Elsa costumes. They were a hit! People were taking pictures and asking ours girls for autographs. We were even invited into the private room in Norway for a picture session. I think the girls wore the outfits 4 out of the 7 days we were there. If I knew how to post pics I would.

Thanks everybody! Glad you liked the pic of our little Tink. She wore that costume that night because it lights up and we were staying for the electrical parade. :thumbsup2

Aww, that sounds adorable! I made my daughter a toddler Anna costume with the two dolls from the scene in the movie, and people all seemed to adore it. Elsa and Anna were pretty cute with the rag doll versions of themselves, too.
