Hitting rides during Fantasmic

We will be heading to WDW this June from the 12th-21st. Our entire family has decided that we have seen Fantasmic enough times and will skip it this trip. Do the ride lines diminish significantly while the show is going on? Just wondering how good of an opportunity it will be to get on some of our favorites more than once. Assuming this would work out better during the late performance than during the earlier one?

Thanks for any insight.

You'll have to try during the first show. The second Fant is usually at park closing or 30 minutes after closing.

During Spring Break in '12, lines were fairly short for RnRC and ToT late in the evening when there was a Fant performance.

The hours during and right before the early presentation of Fantasmic are perfect ride times but beware of false wait times posted on some of the rides.

For example, Midway Mania may still show 70 minutes on the board but have an actual wait time of 20 or less.

RnR likes to drop to a 40 minute minimum even if the ride is a walkon.

ToT will post 13 minutes just for fun even though there is no wait. At least that one makes sense.

The last hour or so of operation is by far my favorite time of the day at DHS. Time can be used much more efficiently than even the early morning hours when there is often a mad rush to the top attractions.

After you're done, you'll still have the option of strolling into the late edition of Fantasmic right before showtime.

Great info! Thanks :thumbsup2

This is exactly what I was wondering since we're hitting HS in May on a night that has two Fantasmic performances and were hoping to get more rides in during the first showing.
