OK, I've ordered the tickets and don't know much about it. For those who hav been, what was your favorite thing to do and why? What could you have done without and why?

So far the Questers are DH, dneice13 and dd11. I did not pre-buy myself a ticket because I see myself as more of a moseying around (SHOPPING) Downtown Disney type. But, I figure if I change my mind, I'll just spend the extra few bucks at the door.

What is a realistic amount of time to spend at Disney Quest and feel like you've done the good stuff??

Thanks!!
Jenn

Roughly 11am to 11 pm and that should do it ;)

Pirates of the Caribbean 3D motion simulator/arcade game.
Virtual Space Mountain
Astro Blast
almost everything there is good.

Pirates of the Caribbean.
Mighty Ducks Pinball.
The Art Studio where they teach you to draw the characters.
In the same area, you can record your own songs (someone sings most of it, you choose the lyrics and add a chorus of your own voice).

Create your own Roller Coaster (whatever that's called) and Pirates of the Carribean hands down......

the animation class! We learned to draw Donald (my apologies to poor Donald for the way I made him turn out...) ----- I am so sorry that we didn't buy the print of our drawings!

I have to say, I found DQ VERY loud and confusing ....but DS (10) absolutely loved it!

Oh, we also liked the Astro Blasters - sort of like attack of the mutant bumper cars! Very fun!

You can spend all day in there. I could spend my whole trip in there. Do everything. Lots of fun and cool stuff to do and see. ::yes::

We love Disney Quest and were both 29 females! We really enjoy POTC, Virtual Space Mountain, River rafting, the 3D Alladin and the comic book virtual game. With the ages of your children you'll probally be there alot longer then you expect. We also enjoyed playing the free video games!
Twinz

I forgot to ask, do they have those ticket stubs for the video games that you cash in at the end and it takes FOREVER for your children to make the earth-shattering choices on what loot they want for their wins??!!

We spent from opening(10 or 11, I can't remember) to
6pm and had to drag DS8 out of there for our PS at Boma.
Next time, we'll plan our meals at Dwntwn Dis and spend
the whole day. We loved make your own roller coaster, Alladin,
Amazon River cruise, DS and DH loved POC but I thought it just
ok for the 45 minute wait-go there immediately upon entering.
We made our own CDs, played arcade games, the Buzz Lightyear
bumper car ride was really fun-dh and ds kept me spinning the entire time(geesh)! Annimation class was great, we sent email
home from the cheesecake factory laptops. Most of the Eqyptian
maze/treasure hunt thingies were not working so we missed that.
It's a fun place! House of Blues is right across the street so you
could do Dwntwn and get a PS for House of Blues. Then you could
regroup and decide if they were done or needed more time.
I'd probably do Quest again but I left for a while and shopped
then met DS and DH at a certain time so they could play arcade
games to their hearts content and I wouldn't be saying....come on, let's go...are you guys ready?, let's go. :smooth:
Everyone was happy!
The ticket stub arcade game area costs extra-we told our DS
it was not included on this day. We do other arcades with tickets
elsewhere and we were not spending that agonizing time over
prize choice here. there is plenty to do otherwise- another whole
floor of pinball/arcade that is free.
