Three hours of hard driving, but it beats the 14 it takes me to get to WDW. The trip to the airport goes fast because I'm anxiously looking forward to the trip. The return trip from the airport to home is a long one.

I was pretty happy with the $135.60 I originally booked with but thanks to this thread that explained Ding I got that down to 115.60. I'm going with 2 friends for my birthday and leaving DH home with DD(6), DS(5) and DD(3). I don't know what to tell them. I'll be home for my actual birthday with them. I want to be able to share photos with them and bring them home presents but I think I may just tell them I've got to travel for work and not show them the photos. But how to resist the gifts?

ETA: I've still got 90 more days for an even better DING.

Hey, now, us DH are not so bad. Thanks to my love for WDW, my disney wife gets to go on more vacations too!

I'm going with 2 friends for my birthday and leaving DH home with DD(6), DS(5) and DD(3).

I'm in E'town. It takes about that long to Indy from here, too.

I consider myself lucky to have 3 airports that SW flies from within a 3 hour drive. then I have Lexington and cincinnati to watch, too.

We booked airfare today! BDL to MCO and home for $468, for 4 of us!!! We got $49 down and $44 back. Unbelievable! I was so upset when I missed it the other day but now I am happy happy happy that it came back! I was at an overnight trip to Mystic Aquarium with my Brownies troop and my husband was leaving me voice mails saying "Ding!" but I had no service! I talked him through it before it expired though. hehe! We got it! We got it! Now I can stop obsessing about it!

I never said he was bad. We just don't have anyone to take the kids and I didn't want my DD(6) to miss anymore school due to Disney trips (she was already out for 6 days in Oct and then came back sick and missed a couple more....). I'd say he's pretty nice to take care of the kids so I can go and Disney just isn't his thing (yet...I haven't given up on that yet).

PS My DD is a Brownie too. How are cookie sales going?

We had our cookie sales already, started back in November. I just did my initial deposit. =) My DD sold 236 boxes herself! She and DH went door-to-door many times, every weekend. My troop sold almost 1000 boxes (9 girls). I am so proud of them! We did a Cookie Shop in December and it was SO freezing cold. I thought my toes would fall off, but that sale actually pushed us over the top for the Super Troop, so I am happy we did it. I am new this year, so I am just excited that all the cookies are NOT in my house anymore and most of the paperwork is done! LOL! How are your sales going?

I'm so glad that you got it. I got a Ding yesterday that I had been looking for. It's such a great 'release' when they finally show up and you successfully get the dates that work for you. Have a great trip!
