I haven't been there yet, so I'll only really be able to comment after our cruise. However, I suspect I will feel a little bit like trespassing. I realize it was sold and bought in due form, but what about the locals who had access to it for years but are now banned.

I had printed up that article several months ago and read it. It was very interesting to read the history of the island, but kinda sad that the guy that wrote it had to book a Disney Cruise to see what used to belong to his family.

Well, it sounded like it was the drug runners who ran the locals off the island, not Disney. What I was curious about is if Disney ran into any problems removing the armed 'escorts' from the island or stopping any more flights from landing...
