We are planning to go to Disney Sept 14th - 29th. We purchased APs for our trip we just finished(driving home as we speak). I am trying to get an idea of what we might expect for a room only discount for our Sept trip using our APs. Is there a place to see historical discounts? If not, does anyone know what might expect to get? We want to stay at Boardwalk(first choice) or Beach or Yacht club. Also, when could I expect to see the AP discounts for Sept released? I hate that you can not use the AP website with the new AP tickets.

mousesavers.com will give you the historical discounts but bear in mind that recently WDW discounts are not what they were just a few years ago. Room discounts are not nearly as good as they used to be.

As stated above, Mousesavers has the historical list. Last year the release dates were all over the place, nothing went along with the historical charts. Also I haven't seen anything higher than 35% off since winter of 2010/2011. That was the last trip we booked with the 40% AP discount.

And yes, I am also TOTALLY FRUSTRATED that we can't get in the AP site with the new APs. I have called 5 or 6 times to check rates, and have asked each time if they know when we will be able to access it, and each time have been told "we're working on it, it will only be a few more days." I first heard that on April 22nd....

I haven't been able to use an AP discount in a couple of years. I've always been able to find a better discount by using a GP rate. The GP rate has come out sooner, and then it's been the same as the AP, or the AP has been for limited resort. This past January the best deal I could get was an AAA rate for POFQ.(Because I specifically wanted to stay at this resort)
I go to WDW twice a year, so I keep an eye on the discounts. I spent years using the AP discount, so it's very disappointing that Annual Passholders aren't getting the "love" they used to get.

Thanks for the info. I guess I will watch for the discount that is currently being offered to Disney Visa card holders for September to be released to the GP and use that.
