Historical Airline/Flight Costs

Is there a website which lists the historical cost of flights?
Somewhere I could see approx. how much flights cost in past months, etc?

Seriously doubting this exists. Sometimes it seems like every seat on the plane is a different price depending on when you bought. I can't imagine that the airlines would release this kind of data since its commercially sensitive.

Have you tried using a(ny) search engine? For something like "historical airfares"?
