Hubby flying home for the weekend today--his flight was cancelled an hour ago and they still haven't found him a new flight.

Update below--he's rebooked!

Sorry for you, but just to give you some perspective, a few years ago, our kids' choir teacher's husband didn't come home the night of her birthday. He was found dead several days later. Her friends always take her on a cruise for her birthday, so she is "forced" to celebrate on that day rather than mourn.

Okay then....thanks for that! Not exactly what I wanted to hear when hubby's flight is cancelled due to a mechanical malfunction.

I have two small children--and he was to be home an hour ago. I guess I should have the girls go buy me something.

He has booked his flight and is now flying into Orlando. Arrives about 7:30pm.
