I think it's good to be busy leading up to a vacation, it helps with making time go by faster! I plan on staying as busy as possible!

Wow Reese! Sounds like you will be very busy until your trip!!! It's so much fun putting up Christmas decorations! I almost started this week too just because I store my decorations in the shed & we had 60 degree temps all week! But I decided to wait until after Thanksgiving just like you did!

Between the Thanksgiving holiday, getting ready for Christmas, and all of Devon's games & practices, I'm sure the time will fly by for you!!!

I also agree, I would just throw whatever summer clothes you're taking to Disney in your suitcase right now! That's a great idea & will save time once you start packing for the trip in a few weeks! Hope you had a good weekend! Its raining here today, so I thought about doing some cleaning as well...thanks for the idea!

Sounds like you'll be pretty busy until your trip, especially this weekend. At least you'll be busy with fun stuff instead of work and it should make the time go by faster. I think it makes more sense to throw your summer clothes into a suitcase now then put them away.

I wouldn't worry about birds too much when flying. There are a ton of safeguards. They track flocks of birds using radar to monitor the risk of planes running into birds and there are people whose job it is to discourage birds from being around the airport and to know if there are a lot of birds around. In the rare case that a bird does fly into the engine, that engine is damaged but there are multiple engines, allowing the plane to come back around and land safely, as this one did.

Yeah so I ended up being a bum this weekend and did NO cleaning! So shorts are staying in the drawer till we leave!!!

So yesterday Jen (who is coming with us to Disney) and I were talking and we decided since neither us or the boys are big time breakfast eaters, that on the days that we do not have Character breakfasts lined up, which is every day but 2 days while we are there, that we will save our CS credits for lunch and just eat breakfast in the room!!!

With that said, we talked about possibly ordering from garden grocer or packing an extra suitcase with food, but with the baggage fees now that didn't seem to reasonable and then when I looked at the prices on gg, that wasn't something worth doing in our eyes either! So... We decided that this weekend we will grab some chips/other snacks, bagels/muffins and the variety packs of the mini cereal boxs along with plastic bowls and spoons and UPS a box to ourselves to AKL to be there for us when we arrive! To send the box to us it will only cost $6.50 to ship!!! NOT BAD!

There you have it! This the 1st time I am doing something like this so if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions to throw my way, please do!

We did a trip with Character meals in the am and we ate so much we were not hungry again for a meal until 7 or 8 at night. We would use our snack credit around 4 for a quick snack before dinner. Worked great!

Terry and I sent a box last year full of fruit snacks, pop tarts, granola bars, and the individual bags of cookies.... It was perfect...

My kids are snackers and it saved us from using up all the snack credits or buying a bunch of things OOP...

I also order bottled water from Costco since I refuse to pay WDW's prices for a bottle of water... 2 cases shipped cost me 11.82

Sounds like a great plan. We brought breakfast stuff (cereal, poptarts, fruit bowls and snacks) on our last trip before all the baggage fees. It worked great for us since we're not big breakfast eaters either. We're hoping to fit it in our bags this year too.

That's a good idea, shipping the food, especially if it's that cheap. I may have to investigate further... We won't need much food since we are doing deluxe dining, but there will be a few items we need...

I saw HP7.1 last night, now if only there was an update here about the WWoHP...

I can not believe Thanksgiving is 3 days away!!! You will be in Disney this time next week!!! Me... I'll just be getting ready to leave!!!

Well all... I only have 3 more days to keep my mouth zipped!!! I finally get to surprise Devon on Thursday!!! I can not believe we leave in just over a weeks time!!! SO SO EXCITED!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!

I got alot accomplished this weekend... House is COMPLETELY clean so all I will have to do is wipe around before we leave and All my lights outside for Christmas are up!!!! Yes, Yes I know I should have probably waited until after Thanksgiving, but it was nice and warm out yesterday so I figured I get it done since this coming weekend a cold front is moving in!!! Nothing worse then freezing your rear off putting up lights!!!

So now all I have to do is PACK and decorate the inside of the house for Christmas!!! Being that Devon doesn't know I can't very well do the packing till after Thursday! So here is the plan... SHOP SHOP SHOP on Friday!!! Yes, I will be out of the house and on my way to the mall at 2:30am!!! This is another one of my addictions next to Disney! Saturday decorate the house... Sunday PACK!!!

Well there you have it! The plans as they stand right now!!!

Oh and guess what I can do tomorrow!!! CHECK IN ONLINE!!!!

Almost forgot!!! I booked a cab to take us to the airport this morning! It will be at my house a 6:10am! Luckily I only live a few minutes away from the airport so it's pretty cheap for me to do this! Plus I feel bad making my dad or brothers waking up that early to take me. In all honesty though... If they weren't going to the Eagles game the night before, there butts would be driving me!!!

Ok now that's really all I have for now!!!

You have been ON IT girl!!!

I still have to do my deep cleaning today and tomorrow, but I am pretty much packed already... I am hosting Thanksgiving for Terry's family and our single male friends who have no where to go... So I have to get ready for all the cooking I get to do by myself...

But then starting Friday I get to drive Terry totally CRAZY since we will drop the kids off at our parents houses on Saturday evening and be getting ready to head to the airport!!!
