hip carrier for toddler?

I just got a sling carrier from lucky-baby. com and absolutely love it. They have several typese of fabrics to choose from. I have been carrying my now 16 month in it during days of 100+ and it hasn't been bad. It's very simple to use, you can move your baby around either to sit in front, on your hip or when they are at least 18 months old they can sit on your back. It's also easy to just throw into a bag. I am planning on using it for our trip in October.

I have the Ergo baby carrier too and I LOVE it! It was great for Disney, especially in lines when we wanted to keep DD close or just give her a change of scenery from the stroller. She loves riding in it, too. In my opinion it's better than the hip carriers (at least with toddlers) because the child's weight is evenly distributed across your back.

The best material for HOT HUMID weather is solarviel it also has a UV protection for your little one too! I have many many carriers all from mom's that sell online, kozycarrier, hotsling, oopa ring sling, happy cruiser mei tia, ect ect ect! LOL http://www.sachicarriers.com/catalog.php?category=14 i have one of these carriers on it's way to me with a detachable hood which while be nice blocking the UV rays if allison falls sleep in the carrier. but there are other work at home moms that make ring slings and pouches out of the solarviel that is great too! I know hotslings make one.

I'm wondering why your hotsling isn't working any more??? I still use my hotsling with my dd who is 3 y/o and 30lbs. if she's sleep or tired of walking, ect. PM if you want some help with your carrier i'd be glad to give you tips! I love my sling addiction! LOL
