Hilton Worldwide reached an agreement for France’s first Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton hotels, to open near Disneyland Paris in 2015.

The dual-branded hotel will be part of the Val d’Europe business park and will be about 25 miles from both Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports.

The Hilton Garden Inn Val d’Europe will have 154 rooms, and the Hampton by Hilton Val d’Europe will have 96.

I was just reading about this on DCP.

More competition is great news. Building it over in the business park seems a bit strange, perhaps it's targeting business and not leisure travellers.

Hopefully it will have regular shuttle buses to the parks. That's my biggest issue with the Val D' Europe hotels. If we stay there we normally end up taking the train!

I think it will attract conference goers and organisers who don't want to be staying in the park hotels. They can bus them in and have their conference and then go back to a decent hotel to sleep.

I'd rather get the train from VdE than ride those manic shuttle buses back to the park hotels at night :)
