Hilton near Aulani

I am getting ready to book Aulani and am looking to extend my stay with some hilton honors points. Any recommendations on hilton hotels somewhat nearby. We will have a car but prefer not to fly.

Not sure if there is a Hilton between Aulani and Honolulu, but in Honolulu there is the Hilton Hawaiian Village complex on the beach in Waikiki. With reasonable traffic Aulani is only 30-45 minutes from Honolulu.

Only Hilton's on Oahu are all in Waikiki.

As mentioned, there is Hilton Hawaiian Village, with 3 HGVC timeshares, and something like 3 or 4 hotel towers (including the famous Rainbow tower).

Also in Waikiki are the Hilton Waikiki, a Doubletree hotel, and on Waikiki Beach Walk an Embassy Suites, and Hokulani, which is a converted hotel into another Hilton timeshare. (not sure if that one is open yet though).

If you would be willing to try another island, I would recommend Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island, about 20 miles north of Kona airport. Outside of Aulani, it's the most Disney-esque hotel in the islands. (in that it has trams and boats between the various buildings.)

If you would happen to have MarriottRewards points, the JWMarriott Ihilani hotel is right next to Aulani, and Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club (a Marriott timeshare) is just 2 lagoons down from Aulani.
