How impossible would it be to get a reservation there for the week of the 24th, at this late date? I never know our summer brings with our childrens sports schedules, but I think we may have a some time off that week? Wish Member services were open on the weekends.

We checked out on July 2. The resort had tremendously emptied out by then. We were surprised it would be so empty for the 4th of July weekend. So you may get lucky!!

The resort is at full occupancy for the weekdays thru the summer. There are a few weekend nights available.

We just returned home from a week at HH and it was completely filled from Sunday thru Thursday nites. There were a few villas available last Friday and Saturday (when the points are much higher).

It can't hurt to call MS on Monday and see what's available, but unless they just had a cancellation, don't get your expectations too high!

Never hurts to try. As WMDoc suggested, there may be some weekend openings at such a late date or even a surprise cancellation, though the latter is less likely IMO. When we decided to do a June HHI trip last April, there were no studios or 1BRs. However, there were a number of 2BRs since the pricing of those over a weekend is more, thus not a popular choice for the point conscious. BTW, we enjoyed our HHI trip a great deal. . .seemed like more of a calm vacation than visiting WDW. Good luck!
