I am trying to find pictures of the Disney resort - more then what is on the DVC website.

Is the beach at the resort?

The resort is on the marsh area of the island. The beach is about a mile away. There is transportation provided between the two areas, and there is a second pool, bar and snack bar at the Beach House.

HHI is very different. It is not a beach resort although the beach is a hop skip and a jump away. Picture a low country coastal hunting retreat with huge oak trees that is almost surrounded by water and marsh.

It is relaxing and gorgeous....but not the beach.
