For a two Bedroom, what are my room view choices...Pool, Marsh, etc.
Is there anything special I should be requesting at HH.

Thanks

The Hilton Head resort has three view options - Pool, Marsh and Island.

The Pool Views are pretty obvious and there are only a few buildings with this option - all are 2BRs with this view.

Marsh View villas have a look at Broad Creek, which is a tidal marsh which changes throughout the day with the tides. We have enjoyed watching sea otter, dolphins and manatee as well as wide variety of sea birds right from our balcony at the resort.

Island View villas will have a view of interior areas of the island and resort. Some may have a slight glimpse of the marsh, but mostly it will be wooded views.

These are the views from the villa balcony - a few buildings also have a look at the Shelter Cove Marina from their front door or kitchen/bathroom window.

Here is a description of the HH Resort.

Enjoy! :)

HHI is working on installing internet access in all of the rooms, but it is not yet completed. If that is important to you, you may want to be near the lodge or the pool to use free wi-fi. Our poolside 2 bedroom was able to use free wi-fi from our room.

The HH resort hopes to have wireless internet resort-wide by the end of 2008. It apparently will not be a broadband access using a cable.

As Jean noted, at this time there is wireless available near Big Murgies Den, Community Hall, poolside and at the Beach House. A few villas can catch the wireless access near those locations, but even then it is spotty at times.

I think we were in building 31 in a two bedroom. I would highly recommend it. The marsh view was great. It is all the way on the end. It is a short walk to the pool, but the furthest from the main building, which still is not that far away if you take the boardwalk behind the buildings. We also had our own bikes, so it only took about a minute to ride up there if we needed to.

We were in one of the buildings in the middle the first time we went and it wasn't much of a view. You had a few trees and mostly other buildings to look at. Even then, HHIR is a very relaxing and beautiful place to stay.
