Can anyone recommend a good family photographer?
Is there a workout room?
Which golf Course, Arthur Hills or George Fazio?
Where to get shrimp po boy or soft shell crab?

we used Legacy last summer. They are right over in Shelter Cove. You can walk over to view proofs. They were fine and rates were as good or better than others--photos were fine. What I wished I had known was that they also had a studio. I did not like our beach photos--it was windy and our hair was all over the place. If I had known we could have also done the studio--I might have just opted for that.

There is a small workout room. There are alot of paths to enjoy a good ride or bike ride.

Wow, i wish i knew some answers for you cause they are great questions. I'm sure simba's mom will know about the gold courses. Ive only been for a weekend trip but ready for our first real summer trip to really get to explore HHI. we loved it and really looking forward to it. there is a thread on the resorts board for HHI. If you haven't found it yet, may want to ask there as well. Where is Chum and the other HHI native when we need them??

Yup, you're right about the golf courses! Both are nice, but the Fazio course is a bit of a challenge for many golfers, since the course has Fazio's elevated greens, surrounded by sand traps. So if you can't get the ball up in the air, you end up like the poor lady we were with. She spent so much time in the sand traps that she finally got super-discouraged and stopped golfing the last few holes. The Arthur Hills course is very nice, and pretty too!

Hi,
For Palmetto Dunes golf I like Robert Trent Jones as it has an ocean hole.
We enjoy Capt Woody's at Palmetto Bay Marina and they should have soft shell crabs now through early June. Many restaurants will have a soft shell offering during this time.
I know many local photographers like Gregg Flory or John Rechin who would be a good choice. If you have a decent camera with a tripod and timer feature then try it on your own.

Thanks everyone! We are so looking forward to this trip after having done nonstop Disney for 5 years!

Also, can you just rent an umbrella?

I will keep that in mind about Fazio. We are only doing 9 holes, so I don't think Robert Trent Jones was an option.
